Are your children struggling with writing?
Dough Disco is a fine muscle exercise that Shonette invented when she realised the children in her class were struggling to write letters. Shonette read a great deal about brain development and discovered that the fingers are one of the last things the brain controls. Shonette used dough because everyone loves dough and disco because music stimulates our happiness chemicals which in turn impact on memory.
Not sure how to get them excited to do letter formation?
Implemented into a classroom/setting daily use of the methods provided in this training can impact a child’s letter formation and fine muscle control within weeks. An example of the progress is shown below:
Shonette is an outstanding EYFS and Year 1 practitioner, International Speaker, award winning author and has designed a step by step simple and impacting programme (with a takeaway pack of resources) to help Teachers, TA’s and Senior Leaders to develop writing in Early Years and Year 1 pupils. Her work is done Internationally in over 36 countries world wide.
