Creating Outsanding Early Years, Inspire Boys to Write and Squiggle Me into a Writer

Shonette works full time as an International consultant/trainer for Early Years Education, which she combines with working one day a week in a school and being a published author. Shonette’s passion for primary education shines through with her innovativeness, enthusiasm and dedication to impacting on young children’s learning.
What Shonette offers is inspiration, motivation and cost effective ideas for practitioners of early years and primary children. Her ideas span the depth, breadth and width of the curriculum and produce a very personalised learning environment.

The Evening will include:
Permission To – An inspirational session giving all those working with children permission to be happy therefore impacting on the lives and progress of children
Active Literacy – This session will focus on early mark making and how to generate excitement for literacy, (with practical ideas) in both staff and children; striking a perfect balance between a play based and a formal curriculum, both indoors and out …… and all on a shoestring!
Making Maths Magic –. This is a successful kinaesthetic approach to teaching mathematics, which results in accelerated development of key mathematical knowledge and skills. This course leads practitioners through how to achieve ‘outstanding’ progress in mathematics through the Early Years to Level 3. It will include a session on digit dance
Outdoor Learning – This session will give practitioners ideas and the motivation to take their learning outside in all weathers
Squiggle me into a Writer – both print and cursive writing. This is the follow on course to Squiggle Whilst You Wiggle
Boys Writing – Shonette will show you how to create the WOW factor with the current English curriculum through Foundation Stage and into KS1, focussing on how to motivate boys. She will ignite, inspire and make your heart beat just a little bit faster with the desire to get back to school and teach.
Cost: £50 plus VAT.
It also tackles problem solving and solves the problem with ease.
