I know you are back, you are busy and your to do list already has a to do list… so I have done the work for you to help us celebrate the legend herself Dolly Parton.
Come celebrate Dolly Parton Day Friday 25/9 with me? It might not be right for your class if they are already full of kindness and love books but you do not want to share!
25/9 = Dolly Parton Day!
(And yes… 9 to 5 gives us the date)
What a brilliant opportunity to spend a day teaching kindness, celebrating books and wearing a few sparkles!
I have already written loads of simple ideas you can take straight to your team, no extra planning needed.
It would be wonderful if we all celebrated the life of a woman who has genuinely made a difference in the world, especially through bringing books to children?
And obviously… who is not doing their Dough Disco to the Country Queen herself?! My choice? It HAS to be 9 to 5! What is yours?
